What You'll Need

  • For the Mac and Cheese:
  • 8 oz cavatappi (or pasta of choice)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Double Dare Ya™ Habanero Hot Hug™ Seasoning Blend
  • 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute to create a roux. Slowly pour in milk and heavy cream, whisking constantly until smooth. Stir in Double Dare Ya™ Habanero Hot Hug™ Seasoning Blend. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  3. Reduce heat to low and gradually add cheddar, Monterey Jack, and mozzarella, stirring until melted and creamy.
  4. Add cooked pasta to the cheese sauce and stir to coat evenly.
  5. Garnish with parsley and enjoy!
