What You'll Need
- For the Mac and Cheese:
- 8 oz cavatappi (or pasta of choice)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp Double Dare Ya™ Habanero Hot Hug™ Seasoning Blend
- 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Boil the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute to create a roux. Slowly pour in milk and heavy cream, whisking constantly until smooth. Stir in Double Dare Ya™ Habanero Hot Hug™ Seasoning Blend. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Reduce heat to low and gradually add cheddar, Monterey Jack, and mozzarella, stirring until melted and creamy.
- Add cooked pasta to the cheese sauce and stir to coat evenly.
- Garnish with parsley and enjoy!
